TO ENSURE SAFETY AND COMFORT OF EVERYONE STAYING IN OUR HOTELS, VILLAS & BOUTIQUES , WE HAVE LISTED SOME IMPORTANT RULES AND REGULATIONS WHICH ALL OUR GUESTS MUST ACCEPT AND ACKNOWLEDGE BEFORE CHECKIN IN. PLEASE READ THEM CAREFULLY BEFORE CHECKIN IN. WE WISH YOU A HAPPY STAY JAYAA VILLAS!
(A) GENERAL RULES
Check-In and Check-Out: Check-in time: 10:30 AM / Check-out time: 9:30 AM. Late check-outs will incur an additional hourly charge. Please check with the management for availability.
Guest Registration: All guests must present a valid identity card or passport upon check-in., Visitors remaining in the villa after 10:00 PM must register with valid identification.
Quiet Hours: Quiet hours are from 11:00 PM to 7:00 AM. Please avoid any noise that may disturb other guests and neighbours during this time; Any form of disturbance, including loud music or disruptive behavior, is strictly prohibited.
Non-Smoking Policy: Jayaa Villa is a 100% non-smoking property. Smoking inside the villa or rooms is strictly prohibited.; A cleaning fee of 15,000/= will be charged for violation of this policy.
Air Conditioning: All rooms are equipped with air conditioning. For optimal efficiency, ensure windows and doors are properly closed while the air conditioning is in us
(B) GUEST BELONGINGS & STRICTLY NOT ALLOWED ITEMS
Dress Code: Guests must wear appropriate clothing and footwear when in public areas of the villa.
Prohibited Items: The following items are strictly prohibited on the premises: Explosives, weapons, and flammable materials, Hazardous chemicals or any other dangerous substances, Illegal drugs, substances, or unauthorised / undeclared alcohol, Exotic plants or any items violating local laws.
Personal Belongings: Jayaa Villas is not responsible for the loss, theft, or damage of personal belongings not stored in the safe or not locked or placed in a safe place.
Room Access: A "Do Not Disturb" sign is provided in each room. For safety and security, this sign may not be displayed for more than 24 hours. After this time, the villa reserves the right to enter the room.
Pets: Pets are not allowed, except for guide dogs with prior approval.
Food and Beverage: Guests are not allowed to bring outside food and beverages into the villa. Any unauthorized food or drinks will be removed by management.
(C) RULES FOR DAMAGES & ENVIRONMENTAL POLICY
Damage to Property: Guests are responsible for any breakage or damage to villa property, including but not limited to: Glasses, plates, and cooking equipment, Furniture, doors, windows, and fixtures, Bathroom fittings, tiles, and flooring, Antiques, paintings, and other decorative items. Any damages will incur a penalty, the amount of which will be determined solely at the discretion of management.
Environmental Policy: Guests are strictly prohibited from polluting the villa's lake reservation, lake deck, or surrounding garden. Disposing of any foreign objects, waste, or materials in these areas is not allowed. A minimum penalty of LKR 25,000 will be charged for cleaning and restoring any polluted areas.
(D) USAGE OF POOL , POOL EQUIPMENT & POOLSIDE AREA
Infinity Swimming Pool Rules: To ensure the safety and comfort of all guests, the following rules apply to the use of the infinity swimming pool: Pool Hours: The pool is open daily from 10:00 AM to 10:00 PM. Swimming outside these hours is strictly prohibited. Maximum Occupancy: A maximum of 15 guests are allowed in the pool at any given time. Proper Swimwear: Only appropriate swimwear is allowed in the pool. Shower Before Entering: Guests must shower before using the pool to maintain water hygiene. No Diving: Diving is strictly prohibited due to the pool’s design and depth. Children Supervision: Children under 16 years must be accompanied by an adult at all times. No Lifeguard on Duty: Guests swim at their own risk. Jayaa Villa is not liable for accidents or injuries. No Running or Rough Play: For safety reasons, running, pushing, or rough play is not allowed near or in the pool. Food and Drinks: Only beverages in plastic containers are allowed. No food is permitted in the pool area. Pool Towels: Use the designated pool towels provided by the villa. Health Restrictions: Guests with contagious conditions or open wounds are not allowed in the pool. Cleanliness: Do not litter the pool area. Dispose of any trash in designated bins.
(E) ADDED FOR YOUR OWN SAFETY
Safety & Security: Ensure your room door is locked whenever you leave. Guests are responsible for their conduct and must ensure their behavior does not disturb others.
Liability: Jayaa Villa is not liable for accidents, injuries, or damages caused by guest negligence. Any damage to villa property caused by guests will result in repair or replacement costs being charged to the guest.
Emergency Procedures: In case of an emergency, please contact villa management immediately. Emergency contact numbers are provided in your room.
(F) ACCEPTANCE BY THE GUEST
By staying at Jayaa Villa, AT THE MOMENT GUESTS CHECKIN IN, guests acknowledge, accept and agree to comply with these rules including Terms & Conditions. Failure to adhere to these policies may result in eviction without a refund or a penalty.
In addition, guests may require to DULY SIGN several COPIES of these rules and regulations during checkin in depending on the nature of the booking & nature and its management's decision as an added safety precaution.
